Layer Smash
Experimenting with blending.
I've been a semi-purist when it comes to multiple exposures for quite a while, in that I like to try to do them in-camera. I love that my little Fuji can do this and it's a ton of fun.
This week, however, I decided to break another one of my 'rules' and just look for things to blend that seem interesting to me. I started by going through some of my older shots, looking for things that could work well together, and landed on overlaying color photos of signs onto black and white photos.
I ended up going out and shooting more photos of signage this week to give myself more options, and then just tried different blending modes until I found something I liked. It was super fun, and I really like how they turned out. Thanks for looking!
This last one doesn’t fit the sign theme, but I really like it.
