What's the point?
Here are some photos of recent life experiences that I quite like.
I haven’t published anything in over two months. Sometimes your perspective shifts and you re-examine your motivations. Lately I’ve questioned why I should bother sharing my photography. I enjoy the act of taking pictures and sometimes I feel like that should be enough. There is so much content at everyone’s finger tips at any given moment. It feels like no one really takes the time to try to understand what is in front of them and I wondered why I should add more noise to the mix.
Then a friend sent me a copy of a short story he had been working on and it was fantastic. I was so happy that he shared it with me it reminded me that putting the things we create in front of other people to experience is part of what makes us human. It’s ok, and it can be cathartic.
Perspective shifted. Motivations re-examined.
