Photos of Things

A few from the week.

Photos of Things

I didn't have much time to shoot for myself this week, so I grabbed whatever moments I could. Always grateful for any time I get to mess around with making stuff.

Going through what I shot over the last seven days was a bit rough—I thought I had more keepers. But it still feels good to pull out a few to share. There's something about looking through what I shot and narrowing it down that helps me to make sense of what was happening over that time period, the ideas I had, and where I am going next. Not sure if that makes sense—it's late and I'm beat.

Thanks for looking.

2. Playing with light and a Polaroid transparency that I’m using for a separate upcoming project.
3. Another one using a Polaroid transparency. A completely different outcome than what this one was used for in the aforementioned upcoming project.
4. Lily Pad. I was sitting in a kayak and realized my phone is supposed to be waterproof.
5. Dandelion from my morning walk where I grew up.
6. Cattails from my morning walk where I grew up.
7. Car wash in a small town. I was driving through when I spotted it. Something about the open doors and the lights made it feel like it was trying to lure in it’s prey… like a Venus fly trap… so I had to turn around a get a shot.
