Sometimes

Some weeks I’m fired up to create, and some weeks it’s a struggle.

Lately, it’s felt more like a struggle. I’ve got a few project ideas I really like — I can see them in my head — but for whatever reason, they’re just not coming together. Sometimes that’s just how it goes. Sometimes they morph into something else, which can actually be really fun. Sometimes they end up looking pretty close to what I pictured. And sometimes… they just die.

I used to hang onto those ideas for dear life, thinking I might not get another good one. But every time I let go, it seems to make space for something new.

So even though it’s been a bit of a grind lately, I know it’s just part of the process.

We’ll see what happens. In the meantime, I’m still shooting whatever grabs my attention throughout the week — nothing crazy.
